Real Talk: New Year's Resolutions

With Christmas now behind us, I'm really thinking about whats to come for the new year! Have you ever heard the quote, "Life was so different this time last year"? It's so incredibly true. What a year 2015 was, so many great things happened and I'm looking forward to seeing what 2016 has in store! I was never the type to make New Year's resolutions, but something about getting older has me wanting to really set and stick to some goals. I wanted to share my 2016 New Year's resolutions (both personal and blog related) with you, because saying them out loud means s*** is real lol and who doesn't need a little accountability?

Working out- EVERYONE sets this as a New Year's resolution, but for me it's a huge problem. I really can't get myself to work out on a consistent basis if I tried. Sleeping in and eating an everything bagel seemed more appealing than getting up early and having an egg white omelet. However, with the wedding coming up, wanting to be more fit, have more energy, and eat healthier, I have to stick to this one!

Set systems for L&V- I have this habit of doing things on the fly when it comes to planning content for Labels & Vintage. Granted, things always get done, but I feel like I can be more efficient and plan ahead of time! My goal is to absolutely never loose my authenticity when it comes to writing my posts but to set a system in place for getting content to you guys much more often.

Create video content- Since I don't share much video content on L&V, with the exception of my Snapchat account, you only have the ability to make out my personality through my writing which can be a bit hard! I'm an extrovert, a jokester, kind hearted, extremely down to earth, and want to share that with you all. It's funny because some people have actually said you seem so serious on the blog but you're so down to earth on the phone or in person. Well, it's time to loose the sunglasses and get in front of the camera more!

What are some of your resolutions for 2016? Leave a comment and share!
